Bristol, UK – 12.05.2025– In a major milestone for digital health innovation, getUBetter has managed to cut their NHS deployment time from four months to just four weeks—helping patients access local self-management support faster than ever before.

Working closely with the MSK Physiotherapy team at Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust (NHFT), getUBetter rapidly rolled out a fully locally configured and branded self-management support app as part of the Get It Right First Time (GIRFT) MSK programme. Designed to support both new referrals and existing waiting lists, the app was live and in patients’ hands within a month of initial contact.

The results speak for themselves: within hours of launch, over 400 patients had registered for the app. Just five days later, that number had climbed to nearly 1,000.

“The app empowers our patients on waiting lists with to take ownership of their care while maintaining a strong focus on safety” – she added. “getUBetter helps us to identify individuals who may require medical review, providing an added layer of reassurance.

This accelerated rollout demonstrates how getUBetter’s rapid deployment model when paired with expert support, can quickly drive real-time impact in NHS service delivery.
