As part of International Women’s Day, getUBetter is bringing together a panel of female leads to share their experience of co-designing getUBetter’s women’s pelvic health support platform.  The company is this year’s proud sponsor of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists’ (RCOG) Innovation and Action in Global Gynaecological Healthcare event.

The panel discussion titled ‘Empowering women’s pelvic health across an entire ICS care pathway’ will see the panel share their insights and experiences from their co-design journey as well as discussing the innovation’s potential to drive improvements in women’s healthcare. The conference attendees will hear from the RCOG’s President-elect, Ranee Thakar; Deputy Director of Transformation for South-West London ICS, Jayne Thorpe; GP partner and Co-Chair for South-West London Gynaecology, Nicola Williams; and getUBetter’s Clinical Product Manager, Louise Coates. The discussion chaired by getUBetter’s CEO, Carey McClellan, will be followed by an audience Q&A.

The RCOG’s event marks International Women’s Day 2024 by showcasing and celebrating the College’s work to tackle issues and drive improvements around the world in women’s healthcare. The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is ‘DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality’. This theme focuses on how technology and education in the digital age can help to empower women and girls across the world.

“We’re honoured to be this year’s event sponsors” – said Carey McClellan. – “We’ve been working with the panel for a number of years and it’s exciting to have them all on one stage. Their experience, expertise, and hard work is truly transforming the way we deliver care for women, and I am looking forward to hearing their insights.”

The event is taking place on the 7th of March at the RCOG on Union Street, London. Some sessions will be available virtually for RCOG members and the global O&G community.
